  Who?

  Hi,Raymonde here.Xi'an Buzzer is my website with Rebecca,although I haven't talked about this with her yet so it'd be a surprise when she finds out.We're both high school seniors from Xi'an,that is the greatest city in the midwest of The People's Republic of China.

  What?

  This is primarily our base online,and also it has(or will have for the moment) a collection of recorded chattings between Rebecca and me as our own podcast.

  Why?

  I am (or soon We are) lauching this website firstly for fun,since we chat a lot,in the classroom,over the phone,on the way etc. so I think why don't we record what we are discussing/rambling and put it online as a podcast.

  I find it interesting because firstly I mostly listen to podcasts in English and haven't really found many good Chinese podcasts,so we're trying to do something here,not necessarily being the best,though.Secondly I'm thinking maybe it's for your benefit (if you don't speak Chinese) in that we're going to be talking real-life Chinese,and that's what I suppose a better way of learning a language than listening to tapes repeating "Ni Hao" non-stop.And finally,for me Rebecca is a dear friend and I really cherish the time we shared,this June we'll graduate from high school and more likely than not we're heading to different parts of the country,of course it's the best if we kept in touch but if not,at least we both had something here recorded.

• This website for now hasn't got anything yet,it might keep growing,or die eventually,we will just see.(fingers crossed)
• We're from a decent school of a decent part of the country,so we'll be speaking standard Chinese,that is Putonghua,so you don't have to worry if you pick up something crappy.
• ...who knows.
